Wish List

I used to aimlessly shop and it caused me to buy a lot of things that now sit in "the back of my closet" or have already been given away to charity. Not that there's anything wrong with donating clothes, but it kinda sucks when it was an item that I paid a lot for or didn't even wear once.

When I'm stressed out or bummed or bored, I like to "online shop" if you will. I put this in quotes because I've only ever actually purchased something online a handful of times. When I say I'm online shopping I'm really just browsing, window shopping in some form I suppose. I browse blogs, lookbook, coolspotters, and quite often the Sephora, MAC, neiman marcus and nordstrom websites. I see so many pretty things and cool ideas that it's hard not to want them!

Since school started I've been more stressed out, bummed and bored than ever, so it's kinda led me into a long list of items or trends I want to try out. However, on the positive side at least I have a planned list  so I avoid any silly purchases.

So here are some clothes, accessories, hair and makeup items I really want to get. Beware.... this may be a long post.

1. MOST DESIRED ITEM.
THIS BAG.
I've already mentioned it before but I seriously can't get it out of my head. I have yet to see it in person though :(

YSL Cabas ChYc tote in red :)

The rest are in no particular order.

2. White and red jeans

Red:

I really like that darker wine red colour too.

and white:

minus the rips.

really LOVE this whole outfit.
including this denim shirt, which brings me to #3
....

3. Denim shirt, jacket or vest. Or all 3 LOL

 4. a trooper jacket of some sort

I really like this one from Aritzia.

Kinda liking it in grey...

or in vest form...

or with black leather sleeves... hmm...

Zara has one.

4. Tanks with low sides

I LOVE the whole look of a low tank that shows off the back or side of a lace bra etc. It's definitely my go-to look. I've always loved it and probably always will. Therefore good quality, preferably black, tanks that fit in this category are always a smart purchase. My closet could use some different cuts of these.

I'm thinking to go check out Brandy Melville some more, they have some cute tops on their website:

This is pretty much the idea I have in mind, or variations of such.

5. Jeffrey Campbell black wedges

I live in wedges. At least, on the weekends I do. As far as heels go, it's all I can walk in. Plus I love the look of them. But I do not have any black wedges! And every weekend when I'm putting together an outfit I wish this wasn't the case. So I'd like to get a pair of black wedges by none other than JC. Love his style, affordable price, amazing comfort and great quality. He's by far my favourite shoe designer.

Love these!!!
And the fact that they're called V-Man and shape like a "V" for my first name is just a bonus...

6. House of Harlow necklace
wanted this for awhile. still want it.

I seriously love it in the khaki colour.

and some big ticket items I would like to EVENTUALLY own:

7. Designer scarf

Louis vuitton- Love Louis. Definitely a quality, timeless piece. So pricey though.

Ofcourse I love the red...

Alexander McQueen- I'm a huge fan of this scarf with black and magenta. It'd be a great statement piece with some colour to go with my all-black closet. I feel like everyone has atleast one of these scarves. Only thing holding me back is the skulls. I love the overall look, just never thought I'd be into skulls. I Just want to make sure I'm not caving into a trend that isn't really ME. Plus for $300+ I want something timeless, not sure if this scarf is.

So cute right?

8. Designer shoes to go with my Herve Leger dress.
The dress is so elegant and beautiful but I have no shoes to go with it!

I'm considering these two.

My absolute fav- YSL tribute sandals

So gorgeous, just not too sure if I should make my first designer heel purchase a sandal rather than a classic pump??

So I was considering some Loubs. Kinda boring and not as comfortable but very classic and the red sole matches my dress :)

Blake has them in nude here, I'd get black of course.
I like the slingback version for comfort reasons.

9. YSL Belle de Jour clutch
Another item to go with my dress :)

Notice my trending obsession with YSL? LOL

10. Louis Vuitton key pouch.
Another item I already mentioned. Just want something to attach to my keys to carry my license and debit card.

And for cosmetics:

11. Leave-in Conditioners

Can't believe I don't own one yet.
I'm going to try these ones.
The ever-so-famous Redken Anti-Snap leave in. Seems promising.

Last time I got my hair done the stylist used this leave-in conditioner by a brand called Milkshake. It made my hair so soft and it smells like cupcakes. I couldn't stop sniffing my hair. I wish I bought it there and then.

This is a hair mask not a leave-in but I recently read this is what Demi Lovato swears by. She has the softest shiniest hair so basically... I need this.

12. Mario Badescu skincare

I've heard amazing things about these products. All the celebrities rage about them.

I'd like to get a night cream since I don't have one yet. After looking at all of them, I think this one suits my needs.

It's always best and easiest to prevent a skin problem before it happens rather than reverse it, so start the anti-wrinkle creams before you actually get wrinkles!
Vitamin A and Retinol is the cure.
I also like that it reduces redness, as I have some pretty severely rosy cheeks.

I'd also like to get a toner. I have a Neutrogena one but it's so harsh!
Mario Badescu has soooooo many to choose from though, I have no idea where to begin...

I think I like the cucumber cleansing lotion one.
He definitely covers all the necessities eh!

13. Some makeup from Sephora I'd like to try- (all the highlighted boxes are the shades I want)

Love these Benefit box blushes! These are the 3 shades I really like.
At the moment I'm probably leaning towards Sugarbomb because Sephora just came out with a set that includes the full-size blush plus some extra products for only $6 more. Benefit has the best sets.

Rated the best liquid liner on the market. I swatched it in the store and it appears to be true.

Another raved about product.

I don't really own a bronzer yet! I want something with sheen but no sparkles.

Smashbox has the most popular primer, but I like this version of it with UV protection and vitamins.

Kinda unnecessary. I own the Naked 2 palette, and two palettes of MAC shadows, but I just have always had my eye out for this one too, bad I know, I know.

Wow! Done!
I know it's a lot of stuff. I definitely won't be getting all of it, at least not any time soon. But at least now I have a set and very detailed list of what to buy. As long as I do not stray from it, I shouldn't have any buyers remorse.
In the mean time I'll be cleaning out and getting rid of things, which also always makes me feel less guilty about buying new things.

Out with the old, in with the new!

Until next time,
xoxo V
