Big beauty haul

I went a little crazy with beauty products the past couple of weeks. But I'm really excited and happy with everything I got. I'll write the names, little reviews for everything and the prices if I can remember them all!

I'll start with hair products.

L-R:
1. Tresemme Climate Control Hairspray #4-fights humidty, uv rays, static & wind. This only cost me $4 and I think it does it's job, is a great amount of product for the price, and smells fresh.
2. Milkshake leave-in conditioner for all hair types. I bought this at my salon, it's the only place I've been able to find it. My hair stylist used this on my hair once and ever since I've been in love. It makes my hair shiny and soft and I've really noticed a difference since using this. It also smells deliciously like vanilla. Price=$22
3. Redken extreme anti-snap leave-in treatment for distressed hair. Just bought this yesterday at ulta so it's too early to say anything. But it has great reviews so I'm looking forward to trying this. Price=$16.50
4. Wella Enrich moisturizing treatment for coarse hair. Demi Lovato swears by this and now I do too. This has drastically changed my hair. I used to have long tangled hair, now I have long, healthy, smooth hair. Cannot praise this enough. Smells great too.
Price= $14

I went to Sephora...
Top picture L-R:
1. Nars blush in Orgasm. Finally jumped on the bandwagon for Nars' most popular blush colour. I already had deep throat so I never bothered to pick up Orgasm as they're often compared to each other, but I'm glad I did. I've been wearing this blush almost every day now and I love it. I think it works for almost every skin tone, and just provides such a gorgeous flush of colour and glow. Price=$32 CAD
2.Urban Decay Naked palette. My boyfriend surprised me with this since he knew I liked it. I already have the Naked 2 palette and two palettes of MAC eyeshadows so I never thought it was necessary to pick this one up. However, this is another product I'm glad I own now. I love mixing the shadows from my two UD and two MAC palettes. So many combos to play with! I've been loving it. Price=$60 CAD
3. Sample sizes of the Urban Decay original primer potion and Laura Mercier original face primer. The UD primer potion came with my palette and the LM I got as a 100 point beauty insider perk at Sephora. Not too crazy about either. I like my too faced shadow insurance better than the primer potion and I'm still on the hunt for my holy grail foundation primer. Price=free lol
4. Benefit Get Even powder in #3. I got this right as they were discontinuing it! I'm so sad because I love this powder. It does it's job, maintains oil control and provides coverage without being cakey. I really like it, it's my holy grail powder now, but I should probably stop using it so often so I don't run out too fast. :( Price=$34 CAD

Bottom pic:
I got these two brushes on sale at Sephora and I love them. The bronzer brush was $17, and the blush brush was $9!!! The blush brush is literally my favourite brush of all time. It was the last one left and words cannot describe how happy I am I found it. I have 3 other blush brushes but none of them are as soft, perfectly shaped, or put as much product on the cheek as this one. And for only $9! Woo!

US purchases yesterday:
1. Pink Sugar perfume. I love the smell of this perfume but whenever I sprayed it on myself and walked around the mall, I found it a little too strong. Till recently I put it a spritz on my hair and it was the perfect amount of scent. My dad got this for me at Burlington Coat Factory yesterday in Buffalo, thanks Dad :) We found it for $29.99 USD. In Canada this is $49 at Sephora.
2. Banana Boat Summer Color Self-tanning Lotion. Never tried self-tanning before and I was curious! I'm olive skin-toned and naturally tan. My face is NC40 and my body much darker naturally, except for my neck and upper chest area. So I'll only be using this in that area.

Bath products:

L-R:1. Olay Body wash plus creme ribbons. It smelt yummy and looked like it would moisturize my skin, and it was pink lol. No complaints! I'll probably continue to repurchase this. If I remember correctly it was around $6 at Walmart. 2. Summer's Eve Delicate Blossom Cleansing wash. Apparently this is better and gentler than normal soap so I picked it up. Again, around $6 at Walmart.3. Skintimate moisturizing shaving gel in Rasberry Rain. Again, gentler and better than normal soap. Love the rasberry scent. And again, will continue to repurchase and it was around $6 at Walmart.4. Pink Loofa. Needed a new one. People if you do not shower with a loofa, go and buy one now! Men included! Otherwise you're just rubbing soap into dead skin cells and you're not truly making your skin clean in the shower. Only $1 at Walmart. Your's doesn't have to be pink, I just need to have everything in my shower pink. I would probably choose to have everything in my LIFE pink but that might be overkill.

And lastly... I went to MAC...
I had been literally counting down the hours till the Marilyn Monroe collection hit the shelves October 4th. Being the blushaholic that I am, I really wanted to purchase one of the blushes. However I was worried that they wouldn't show up on my tan skin tone, as the collection is aimed to pale skin tones like Marilyn's. My worry came true, they didn't show up at all. So I picked up the nude lipstick from the collection in Pure Zen. Just what I need, another nude MAC lipstick in my collection... Not... So I'm not sure it was the wisest choice.  Price=$20 CAD
I also picked up the penultimate eye liner in rapid black. It's part of the Marilyn collection but also a permanent item. So far, this is the best liquid liner I've ever used. It's a pure, intense black, dries quick, doesn't smudge, and is really easy and precise. Price= $22 Cad

That's it for now, thanks for reading!
Until next time,
Xoxo V
